I gotta say that was excellent. I watched it 4 times to be sure that I didn’t miss the critical flow of information. I also applaud the fact that you are getting this comment to use in the future, for your benefit. This is an example of outstanding marketing and an example of how to give away information and prosper from it. I owned my own offline business and to think of giving away 100% of the profit makes my blood curdle.
However, instead of resisting the idea and fighting it, I am welcoming it and trying to figure out how to apply it to my plan. This video by Derrick Van Dyke is definitely worth watching for. it explains the process and the mechanics of making money online . The strategies with the system mentioned in the video are clearly explained and relevant to the objectives in achieving your goals in making money.

Derrick has the knowledge and the integrity to truly be the one that would stand with you and work with you as you learn his systems. I have had the opportunity to purchase some of his products and they are unlike any I have seen. He supports his subscribers and his products as well as takes the time out of his busy schedule to help when needed.

I have sent a good bit of time over the past 2 years or so looking at as many so called Guru’s, Trainers, Coaches and Internet Marketers. Their material, their consistency, their ability to deal with all types of customers/prospects, etc. But most of all, who seemed to show the true integrity as well as the best interest of their subscribers, rather than just making a sale. You know those that would help out the little guy or those that had a hard time grasping the concepts, etc.

Because the internet is so massive, most wouldn’t offer any advice or assistance because for every person that didn’t take their offer, there were a number more that would.

Well, I spent a good bit of money and time searching for the right marketers to follow and deal with and they can be counted on one hand. Derrick is one of the best I have under the radar marketer out there. Even though I have not been able to fully take advantage of some of his products because I was evaluating different Internet Marketing options and making up my mind about what I really felt I could do, Derrick is part of the reason I have made the decision to follow his teachings regularly. The past year was tough for various reasons and I have been looking for just the right learning process to come along.

I need not get into details as to what I have tried, what I have done or not done because I have had every opportunity to be much further along than I am. But, I lacked, (To steal a line from City Slickers) “That one thing !” and I think that is a great coaching program.
After being burned by a couple of Coaching programs and systems I have been hesitant to get involved again. But you need that as a new marketer if you want to progress.

I am thankful for marketers like Derrick as someone that doesn’t flash all of his success around and stays grounded in just helping others get to new levels.

Anyone can easily use the techniques you’ve just shared to put forth a real big viral campaign for getting a continous stream of leads and profits. Derrick this video covered a lot of ground very quickly but the flow chart did help people to see the connections in the system.

However, being able to see and understand the connections is a long way from being able to effectively implement your system – at this is only phase 1!

I must admit I got lost along the way when you discussed the “branding options” in the viral report concept.

Effective implementation and a realistic understanding of issues like “branding” are key reasons why your coaching would be essential to create viable systems like this one

You know….there are a lot of great marketeers out there with a wealth
of knowledge. But are not able to put this together in a cohesive form
for others to learn from….sure all the elements may well be there, but
that alone does not make it a great training program.

What you need is someone who can formulate this knowledge into a
system that most everyone would be able to follow, i mean a truly step
by step method, not a so called step by step method that just does not
cut it.

I’ve always been a fan of flow charts and most people miss the point in
how to use them for training a wide audiance. Derrick has got the approcach
to using them about right here, the mix of the chart and verbal explanation.

As other people have mentiond here, i’ts all about integrity, do these other
marketing guru’s really want to help other people, or just let them get so far
and get stuck….thereby being able to sell them another part of the jigsaw
puzzel…..the jurys out on that one.

I’ts so easy to keep flitting from one guru’s training to another, then another
and just keep spinning the wheels.

Time to get off the merry-go-round, just shut out the noise and concentate
with someone who can really teach you how to run a successful web business.

Hi Derrick, Just a quick heads up to say that I only wish that this had been available when I started out in IM. It would have saved me countless hours of frustration and countless amounts of cash wasted on systems, ebooks and software that either did not work, or could not be understood.

The single most important factor for any newbie is to TAKE ACTION. Lack of action is the number one reason for failure.

A step-by-step approach like you have shown, with a video for each step and a flow chart so it can be understood must be the way to go to help people understand what is required to make any money online and to build a list.

Thanks for making all this understandable, attainable and that you really want to help rather than just sell `another system`.

Derrick shows with a simple yet straight forward flowchart how to build your list from scratch. The details of what other methods are needed in order to construct and set this all up on autopilot.

Simple and straight-forward. You don’t need every new e-book to hit the market-most of which are just a rehash of out-dated techniques, just a simple time-proven plan that you can follow step by step. Bravo for putting this out for everyone to learn from. You have also proven my second law of marketing-over-deliver. Law #1 is a simple step by step time proven plan and the second law of marketing is to always over deliver on your promises.

You have hit the nail squarely on the head with this video. Although this is not the only way to build a list, it is one of the best. You have described a complete system that not only creates the best foundation for any online business, email marketing, but you have done a great job of showing how to monetize the list building efforts.

I’ve spent four years developing a sofware that will do this system that you have just explained in your video. The fact that I’ve devoted four years to this software is a darn good indicator that the system you are going to teach is based on solid proven principles that always deliver and will not go out of date.

I have used this system and different variations of this system in the video to build an opt-in list of over 100,000 subscribers.

There are 7 undeniable truths as to why list building is a must for every online business…

Fact #1 – Without your own large opt-in email contact list you will have to pay through the nose in time or money for any sort of targeted traffic to your websites.  Because I have my own large opt-in list, I can’t remember the last time I had to pay for advertising to drive traffic to any of my sites.

An example would be a marketer that relied on Search Engine Optimization (SEO). He’s getting all kinds of free traffic to his website because he has his website listed on the first page of Google.

Tell me, what would this marketer do if over night Google made a small change to their site and the marketer woke up in the morning and his website was no longer listed any more.
He would be out of business. But if he would have collected the names and email addresses of all the people going to his website when the traffic was free, he would still be able to survive selling to the list he had created. But now he has to struggle paying for traffic.

Fact #2 – Without a large opt-in email contact list you have no way of building a relationship with your leads over time. It’s a known fact that most people will not buy from you after only one exposure to your product or business…

So if you don’t have a way for them to give you their email address so you can follow-up with them you are losing out on almost 99% of your sales.  That means that 99% of your efforts are a waste of your time and money.

Fact #3 – Having a large and responsive opt-in email contact list is the ultimate protection against your competition. A competitor can quickly copy your product or come out with a better one… but the one thing a competitor cannot copy is your opt-in email contact list.

Fact #4 – With a large and responsive opt-in email contact list you don’t have to worry about creating your own products (if you don’t want to). Amateurs lose sleep over the product… Products are a dime a dozen. Savvy marketers focus on becoming masters at building massive high quality opt-in email lists FAST.

Fact #5 – Having a large and responsive opt-in email list allows you to basically write your own paycheck. Need a quick influx of cash… then simply send a special offer to your list. 
It is the mailing to a large and responsive opt-in list that produces the most results, by far, in the quickest amount of time. You can publish an email message to your list on Friday morning and literally be producing sales by Friday afternoon.

Fact #6 – A large and responsive opt-in email list gives you power on the Internet.  The person with the list makes all the rules.  You will find people asking you to do joint ventures, give you their products for review and make all kinds of offers with very high commission rates just so you will indorse their products to your list.

Fact #7 – It is not hard to build a large and responsive opt-in list.  Unfortunately there is not just one list building tactic you can use to build your list.  List building takes many tactics working together and is what builds your list at a rapid pace.

However, non of these list building tactics are hard to implement.  You just have to do them every day. The video does a great job of explaining one of the absolute best list building systems to use.

Since I’ve been online (almost a year now),
I keep being puzzled about the word “Guru”.

To my understanding, a Guru is a teacher.
My confusion lies in that constant flow

Hi Derrick. your video is really eye-opening as far as the workings of listbuilding is concerned. I am so greatful that I have stumbled upon this. I have recently followed a so-called “guru”, and paid quite a high price for the so-called training. The result was, that I have burnt my fingers, an still do not know what to do. The fact is, for newbies, it is vitally important to show everything EXACTLY how and when things should be done. The minutest little detail, which comes second nature to the guru’s, are unfortunately vital for someone that is still trying to find their feet. Your comment “bite size” chunks of information, makes it already worth the while to investigate- to see if there is finally someone that can actually really take you by the hand and make some magic happening.
