What do all these words have in common?

They describe the products that marketers sell…and you buy them because you WANT to believe that making money online is easy – even if common sense tells you otherwise.

• You want to believe that  some software will bring you tons of traffic. And all you have to do is push the button.
• You want to believe that there’s a new “loophole” and you can get traffic from search engines for pennies a click.
• You want to believe that you can get rich from social marketing and have fun at the same time!

Please! The next time you read a salesletter for one of those products, think “If it’s so great, why are they selling it?”

I’ll tell you why…

They are selling it because THAT is where the money is — selling information.

Stop being a consumer and get in the game. Instead of buying products, you should be SELLING products.

The next time you consider buying one of those “easy money” products, think about this…

For $47, you could have an outsource worker in India set up an entire reseller site for you. That’s right, 47 bucks will get your product online and ready to sell with a squeeze page to build your list and even tools for your affiliates to send you traffic.

Here’s how to do it today…

1. Go to ResellRightsExpress.com and pick up a product

3. Go to VWorker.com and post your project

You could literally have your own product to sell in 24 hours! And then you’d have the LEVERAGE you need to get other people to send you traffic.

2. How much money have you made?
3. Have you ever bought a program that promised traffic and/or money at the push of a button?

If you haven’t, you’re in the minority. Either you’re smarter than most or you haven’t been online very long.

It seems like there’s a new product launch every day and everyone’s got the latest, greatest gizmo that magically creates instant financial freedom.

But before you waste your time again, ask yourself this question, “If it’s soooo great, why the heck are they selling it?”

I’ll tell you why…

Because there’s more money to be made selling products than actually using them (even if they do work).

So if you’ve been trying to make money online and you’re not exactly where you want to be (or even close), here’s what you need to do…

First, stop looking for a “magic bullet.” Short of winning the lottery, it doesn’t exist. Just like everything else in life, hard work and determination pay off in the long run.

Second, understand that this is a real business and you need to learn how to run it. You need to learn how to manage your own website, generate consistent traffic, use an autoresponder, and deal with bookkeeping and taxes.

Third, set up a lead generation system. You can create your own lead magnet or borrow one from somebody else. But you need a way to generate consistent leads.

Fourth, focus on building a list of buyers. It doesn’t matter how big your list is if nobody buys anything. People buy from people they know, like, and trust. So make sure you only promote products that you’ve actually used and can stand behind 100%.

Fifth, do as they do, not as the say. Marketers tell you what you want to hear and then they sell it to you. Don’t you wish there were an easy way to make money? Of course you do… and marketers prey on anyone who actually believes that.

Don’t be a victim.

Stop buying stuff and start selling! The product owner is the one with ALL the leverage…

When you have your own product:

• You control the sales process
• You can get other people to send the traffic
• You can get other people to build your list
• You get all the buyer leads
• You make a LOT more money

And you don’t need a ClickBank best seller. You can buy rights to a product and set it up in a day. Selling your own product gives you leverage to get affiliates to promote and set up joint ventures with other product owners.

Even if you give away 100% of your sales to affiliates, you can still make a ton of money. Here’s why…

Let’s say you set up an offer for $7 and pay affiliates 100% instant commissions. You can install an exit opt-in page with a tempting free offer to capture leads. And you can create a customer registration page to collect the buyer leads after the sale.

Affiliates send you traffic and build your list for free. And you can funnel those leads into a continuity program as an affiliate to build a residual income.

That’s just one business model that ANYONE can use to make money online and you don’t have to be a genius to set it up. In fact, you can get someone else to do the tech stuff… IF you know how it works.

Let me rephrase that…

If you fully understand the business model, you can pay someone $20 – $30 to set it up for you. But you have to know how to explain what you want.

Now regarding my original three questions…

If you had set up the business model that I just described when you first started out online instead of looking for a “magic bullet” and buying gizmos that don’t work, how much money do you think you’d be making right now?

1. Find five or more products on a specific topic plus one that you can give away for free.

2. Pick the best three products and reserve the other two for bonuses.

3. Pick the best sales letter from the bunch and combine bullets from the other sales letters to make one kick-butt sales letter for the package.

4. Get new graphics. You don’t need a complete graphics package. Just get an ecover for each product and a few banners for affiliates.

5. Create a squeeze page or an exit pop – test and tweak until your opt-in rate is 40% or more.

6. Queue up 10 autoresponse emails that promote the product to your subscribers.

7. Queue up 3 emails that give bonuses to your customers (you can give most RR products away as a bonus to a PAID product). This will reduce or eliminate your refunds. Make sure you use automation rules to remove customers from the subscriber list.

8. Set up an affiliate program and pay 100% commission to get lots of free traffic.

9. Add an upsell and a downsell (you’ll need more products).

10. Tweak the offer until your affiliates are making at least $1 per visitor.

Now you have a well-oiled selling machine that runs on auto-pilot to build your list and make you money. Do it again!

It doesn’t matter if you use a squeeze page, a popup, or an exit popover. You NEED something valuable to give your visitors to get them on your list so you can follow up and make more sales. Then you need to split test your opt-in page until you’re getting at least 40% conversion. If you’re not getting that, you need a new lead magnet.

Step 2: Create a Front-End Offer

If you’re an affiliate, you still need to sell your own products so you can  separate your buyers from the rest of your list. Then you can send multiple emails for the same product and automatically remove customers from your prospect list when they buy. You can’t do that if you’re just sending traffic to an affiliate sales page.

Step 3: Set up an Affiliate Program

Unless you want to spend four hours every day just to get a few hundred visitors a week, you need to use leverage in your business. You need to get other people to send you traffic so you can concentrate on marketing. You also need to give your affiliates the right tools and instructions to promote for you. You don’t have to land big JV deals either. You can get a lot of traffic from 100 affiliates who each send you 10 visitors a day.

Step 4: Recruit Affiliates

This is something you’ll do on a regular basis. At first, you may have to swap ads with other marketers to get them to promote. But if you set it up right, every visitor they send you can potentially become an affiliate. Add followups that promote your affiliate program to your subscribers and customers. Add affiliate information to your download pages. Give your affiliates incentives to promote and bring you more affiliates.

Step 5: Add Upsells to Your Offer

At this point, a lot of marketers would create another front-end product. But that’s a big mistake. The biggest cost of any business is the acquisition of customers.  So you want to get the most value from your customers while they’re in the buying mode. You should split-test your offers until you’re satisfied with the visitor value of your site. Then you can use that as leverage to get more affiliates to promote.

Step 6: Add a Continuity Program

Membership sites and monthly services bring in consistent income, month after month. No matter what people say, it does take a lot of work to do it right and keep your members happy. So creating a membership site is something you should put a lot of thought into. And if you already have a customer base, it’s easy to find out what they want – just ask.
